WVHSN Monthly Newsletter First Edition
I’m Josiah Simms, the editor of this new monthly newsletter for kids. I have been a part of WVHSN for two years. I decided to create this newsletter because I thought it would be fun to share things we have done with others in the group and get to know each other better. Here are some things that you can email to me to be included in the newsletter:
· Original artwork
· Short stories or poems you have written

· Book reviews
· Pictures of things you have created with Legos, etc.
· Picture of yourself and a short bio if you want to share in the newsletter
For example:
I just turned 10 years old on July 4th And I just got braces. They hurt! I like to play baseball, basketball, and football, but mostly baseball. I also like to read and write books and comic books.
All submissions must be sent before September 10 to be included in the next newsletter.
September Park Days
September park days will be held at Pioneer Park. This is located at 83rd Avenue and Olive.
Important Dates:
09/07 Park Day 11am-3pm
09/14 Park Day 11am-3pm
09/21 Park Day 11am-3pm
09/28 Park Day 11am-3pm
You Answer It:
1. Do you like mint chocolate chip ice cream or rocky road ice cream better? Email the ice cream you like best to josiahbsimms@icloud.com and the results will be in the next newsletter.
2. "A box without hinges, key, or lid, yet golden treasure inside is hid."
The first person to guess this riddle and, or, guess the book that it's from will be published in the next newsletter. Email your answers to me at josiahbsimms@icloud.com.
If there's anything else you would like to see in this newsletter, please email me at: josiahbsimms@icloud.com.
This is the most amazing blog I have ever commented on.
